Hey everyone,

So I am trying to scope out some interior upholstry options for my 80 Supreme. I have found some new seat covers, carpet and pretty much everything you could ever need on g-bodyparts.com

I am on a budget as I am a family man and a deputy sheriff who simply does not have a ton of extra cash flow.

I was curious if anyone has used the parts from this website and their results. Also if anyone has any good options for me to go with. I am thinking about switching the color to gray or black to mesh better with the blue paint job.

Any advice suggestions would be appreciated. I have attached some pics of what I am currently dealing with haha

Thanks!!!!

The same seatcover kits are offered elsewhere for less $$. There are really only 2 players in the manufacturing game for seat cover kits, PUI, and Acme...but there are many vendors of those two manufacturers products.

My advice is go black, way better chance of things matching. I'm doing red/maroon/maple in my Malibu, none of the aftermarket stuff matches any of the other vendors' stuff (and NONE of it matches the OE color). If I knew when I started what I know now (plus I was trying to avoid buying new door panels), it'd be black.

Also might want to research GBodyParts.com, their reviews are mixed. Some have great experiences, others not so much. YMMV

If you are headed to phoenix i will make you a good deal on some really nice grey interior from a 85 442. The parts around the rear side windows are different. You could paint yours. Everything else here will fit. These upper door panels need recovered.

I put new carpet, headliner, seat covers, sun visors, and upper door panels in my 84 regal with the maple red interior. Took a couple trys to get correct colors. Like he said above i would go black next time. There are about 10 different shades of every color interior GM made in the 80s it seems. Definitely order color samples from whoever you order from. Your cutlass looks like the same color as my 79 cutlass. It is called camel. I still won't order anything named camel before ordering color samples.

I set up an account with PUI to get all my interior stuff, to be honest I wasn't really pleased with their customer service. Hopefully it was worth it in the end to get all the stuff, I will say I did like ACC which is who I set up the account to get the carpet through. I went with a different color carpet since it didn't match the rest of the interior stock anyways.

Another thing you might want to consider is looking around on FB marketplace or CL for a parts car with a clean interior. Ive seen some real clean Cutlasses going for not much money. You can spend well over $1K having seats redone. A few more $$ gets you a whole car you can pull parts off and then get cash scrapping the shell.
I found a mint front seat for my wagon at a local yard that had a Cutlass sedan with under 40K miles on it. Got the front seat and the rear seat bottom for $100 and it was a blue interior ! You have to look around. Gray and blue interiors are real common. Plastic parts can be dyed.

Colorado is tough for collector cars. Most people think they are gold and worth a ton even in ok condition. There are only 2-3 yards here that even have old cars in them. My honey hole yard closed last year and who knows where the cars/parts went.

Also AZ regal has offered up some awesome grey interior parts but he is in Phoenix 13hrs from Denver lol. I’m still trying to work some leads to get ahold of those.
