if you want to be competative you'll need to change the suspension anyway and get rid of the rear sway bar. You should do some reading on how to set up a dirt track car.

Thanks for the obvious lol Just kidding.. Yes I have been reading a ton of info and mad a couple contacts at the local track. However like my later posts state I am changing directions for a bit and building a street car out of it. I'm leaving the body and paint as is. I kind of like the "barn find" look. We will be pulling the frame and redoing everything. also plan on detailing the engine compartment. And redoing the interior. I own a powder coating and sand blasting facility which helps a bit. Should have it on the road for next spring.
If you decided to not use the 2004r transmissions. Let me know I will either pay to get them shipped or drive to you and pick them up.

Just figured out they are actually th350 transmissions.
