What is this gasket and can it be reused? Also, I can’t find part number or a replacement.
It goes flush against the spindle.

Replacing my wheel bearings and none of the bearings or seals came with this.

Grease seal

Should be driven into the back of the rotor after the bearing goes in. One-time use part

Where do you get it? The manual just shows it as a gasket.

Missed that you have the backing plate off. Never seen them sold, as almost nobody removes the backing plate in normal service.

You could cut your own out of thin hobby foam sheet used by crafters or scrapbookers

If you're not running backing plates, no need for it

GM/ACDelco part number 15699959. Gasket. Need 2 per car. Says they come in a pack of 10, however if you have to order them from a dealer if they don't want to sell you just 2.

If you have any issues just getting the 2 you need, hit me up. I know I have a couple baggies of those beeches around here.

Current list price $1.42. Likely to get them for buck and a quarter each if you can get a discount. Technically you don't absolutely need it, but the gasket is part of the defense against water intrusion to the rotors/spindles. You could probably make a silcon bead out of some sealer to do the same thing, only it's probably messier, and probably a PITA to take off.

If you really want to buy 10, O'reilly's Auto Parts sells them for 1.14 each, but you need to buy the whole package of 10.

I just made them out of gasket material I had when I replaced my dust shields with new ones on my Regal.

Yea I’m cleaning everything up. So everything is off the spindle.

I found the gaskets on rock auto. Thanks for the help.

I’d be lost without this forum. Y’all rock.
