A Happy Veteran's day to all you who served, and thank you for doing so, we all owe you a beer! I took my Grandson to the NYC Veteran's Day Parade today. I've never gone before so it was new for me too. Oldest (1919) and biggest in the USA. I was very impressed. Tons of active duty people, as well as vets from all years wandering around. Here's a few pics of the parade. The last one is of CMH recipients.

Mark,
Thanks for posting the pics of the parade. It takes me right back there. I dig the old NYC police cars and the vintage fire engine was pretty cool...and that halftrack was cool. Where was it held, on Broadway?
Looked like a good turnout. I hope your grandson enjoyed it.

Thank's Jack. It was on 5th Ave. I should have added this pic, there were HUNDREDS of bikes, all veteran's groups. I can only describe it as rolling thunder. Awesome.

Jeez...some New Yorker I am... I should have known it was 5th Ave. :? I guess it's been a lot time since I've been there.
That must have been some ground shaking rumble from all those bikes.
