Alright alright alright. I'm actually pleasantly surprised we had this good of a turnout. I thought that was one of those things that most people (like me) scraped off their cars as soon as they got it home.

Vote using the poll, I'll run this for FOUR days, so should end Monday(?) some time. And away we go... Note each entry has two photos, one of the car, and one of the badge itself.

(and unfortunately no, wall-mounted doesn't count, lol)

The original entries thread is here: https://gbodyforum.com/threads/entries-aug-20-original-dealer-badges.78859/
Gonna start tagging the entrants in these also, just because...

Wow. Roosevelt of Jackson Heights NY. I worked out of the Jackson Heights Post Office from 1977 to 1979. I don't remember a Chevy dealer, but I delivered to the Pontiac dealer up on Northern and Junction. That's where I fell in love with the 1977 Firebirds.

I've been looking for information on this dealership since purchasing the car and so far I've only came up with the address of 70th st. and 35th ave. in Queens. On a Corvette site there was a person who said he pinstriped cars at the dealership back in the 80's. The corner now has a rehab/medical center along with new build housing.

I missed the entry but I still have my original dealer tag. Not in the best shape, but I have it. Figured I'd still share it.

No, I don't think so. I used to sometimes hit that bar on 35th ave and I would have seen a Chevy dealer right across the street for sure. I drove a 1968 Firebird at the time and had to get a lot of crossover Camaro parts. More likely those places along 70th street toward 34th ave look to be automotive shop material. The bowling and billiards places look very likley. But I still can't picture it. I sometimes hit the Jack-in-the-Box on Northern blvd for a couple of burritos and then grab a quart of beer at the deli on 35th. Then I would drive down 69th street and park by the railroad tracks to have lunch. When the train came along I knew it was time to go back to the office. So I was all over that area and I can't recall a Chevy dealership. EDIT: I worked with a guy that lives right there. He should know for sure. I don't know when I will bump into him though. EDIT- EDIT: Another guy I worked with took his 1965 Malibu there when a pushrod exited the valve cover. His sister's boyfriend was the service manager at that dealership. But he can't remember exactly where it was either. He also thinks it was up the street on 70th because it is a one-way and that was the only way to get to it. .

OK I got some news from a buddy I worked with in the Heights. It was located on 35th Ave between 70 and 71st streets. In 1983 they closed and moved to somewhere on Northern Blvd. I'm thinking they became Major Chevrolet which is still on Northern. The building sat empty about 10 years and then was demolished. The current building was opened in the mid-90's. My buddy bought his first new car there, a 1969 Camaro. And I still can't remember the place. The bar on 35th was a mailman hangout so maybe I was too, er, "lubricated" to remember much. .

That's awesome. The only thing I came up with on line is a 1955(?) looking water color post card and a Zippo lighter with the Roosevelt logo on them.
Thanks for the update.
