On my Series 2, it has 3 coil packs with only 2 contacts on the base, so therefore, the coil fires 2 cylinders at the same time, correct? That would stand to reason that the plug wire orientation wouldn't matter as long as the correct 2 cylinders are attached to the respective coil pack. I am asking because I have come to realize that my plug wire routing is a complete Charley Foxtrot. I want to reroute them temporarily on the junk AC Delco "premium" wires and follow through with the new Taylors when they come in.

That would make sense. But I read somewhere that when the coil fires the polarity reverses from cylinder to cylinder somehow. That is why waste-fire ignition requires platinum or better spark plugs. Or I could be completely wrong.
