Those are the details you won't find in a service manual, luckily I kept all of the service bulletins.
Curious if GM added the sealer starting in 1983.
Kudos to you for holding on to those bulletins all these years. Like you said, you won't find that information anywhere.
Thanks again for sharing the info. This topic comes up quite frequently.

In fig 3, you can see those holes right above the bottom Xs. Those holes are very poorly sealed by the factory and leak. I had to reseal mine with 2k epoxy seam sealer.
