water pump pulley

Don't rule out the possibility of the water pump bearing making the noise. You might try some belt dressing to see if the noise goes away(even for a little while) if it doesn't that might point more to the bearing being the problem.

Belt dressing is a mess..Try cleaning the pulley, sand paper wire brush etc..

Easiest way to check for noise is use a water spray bottle and spray it down while running to see if the noise goes away. Also check the pulley alignment this will cause squealing..

i sprayed belt dressing on the alternator/water pump pulley and the noise goes away but *ss soon as it uses it up squeal comes back and yes that stuff is a mess ... i took the alternator belt off and turn the car on the squeal goes completely away and its not a coincidence and even swaped alternator so its not the alternator ..

May try another new belt. It is possible they grabbed the wrong size and the one you have is the next size bigger.
