HELP Weird cable

Has anyone a clue what the red-marked cable/connector has for a function in a G-Body? Green wire is 12V switched, black is ground. I don't have it on my Lemans, but found it on this wrecked Lemans while pulling parts I could use...

if I decifered the VIN correctly, it is a 78 lemans.
