So today driving home the same way i do everyday, i drive by the same intersection everytime. Well lets put it this way the person with the stop sign didnt stop.... and i end up with this :'(

Sorry about your situation Lorenzo. As others have stated, I hope that everyone is OK, and the other driver has insurance. If all else fails, the car can be replaced.

Thanks guys I'm fine luckily I didn't get hurt otherwise I woulda been more mad at this lady. No the airbags didn't go off I don't know why. The firefighters and cops said they shoulda went off 😛 the cars totaled I'm guessing . The impact broke both engine mounts pushed one of the stabilizer bars upwards, broken my brand new rad and pushed some of the engine back. The dash inside the car is still perfect. So lucky to have been in a safe car I'm gonna miss this one I was almost about to cry at the scene after all the work I put Ito this myself. From new upper and lower intake gaskets to 4 calipers to new rad to new wheel bearing to new trans cooler lines to new windshield and the list goes on. The tow truck driver was a fan of montes as well haha. He felt so bad for me after I told him everything . But I'm guessing she's done , I'm gonna have to go get some stuff out of the car as the firefighters cut my battery cables and I couldn't get into the trunk

By looking at the pics, shes totaled. The air bags should have went off being hit that hard in the front. Glad you didn't get hurt. The newer cars are supposed to crumple up like a beer can to absorb the impact energy, and direct it away from the driver.

I got rear ended a couple of years ago during the winter time by a young female texting on her phone. When the cop gave her a careless driving citation she kept saying it wasn't her fault, it was the roads fault since it was snowy at the time . She fought her ticket in court, then her insurance company did the same trying to turn the tables on me. It was a big mes. I ended up getting paid, and she got found guilty eventually. I hope the other driver had insurance, and they pay out without too much hassle. Make sure you get the accident report from whom ever agency investigated your crash.

^^ thats some good advice. When I got hit a couple years back I had to go to the police station and pay $40 to get a copy of the attending officers report for my files. Hopefully it notes the other drivers fault. Mine came in handy when dealing with the insurance adjuster. FYI, if you didnt have collision coverage the insurance co likely wont make a single move without the accident report.
Is the car in a impound lot or home ? The impound lot will be charging daily fees for storage, the adjuster can assess your car from home just as easily as from a lot.

I was glad to see you were in the newer Monte as its a much safer car by comparison to a Gbody.
