So I'm removing the cruise control unit and I was wondering were these lines go and how do I properly get rid of them?

So I'm removing the cruise control unit and I was wondering were these lines go and how do I properly get rid of them?

You have a pre 1984 cruise module. Those are your speedometer cables. You can ditch them both and get a speedo cable from a newer G body (84-88) which on one end will connect to the transmission and the other to your gauge cluster. They have threads on each side.
