Called Summit to find out why UMI Performance is still late sending my bolts to them so that they can be relayed to me with the rest of my order. A nearly 3 week wait for four bolts and some washers is insane. I should have just gone to the hardware store...

In other news (involving things I have direct influence over) I did a bottle exchange on my AutoWeld tank (ran out during the bumpstop mod - and had to switch to fluxcore) and my acetylene tank (because rose tip wrench work).

I came across one of these used on Kijiji, I have been looking for this kit for a while but finally came across one that was reasonably priced, got it for $80. Much easier to use on the GP than the magnetic metal base and it will work great to check the end play I need on my T5 with the Mcleod TOB installed

Well not today , But this week !!!

A very complete Old's 350 ( # 8 heads ,unsure of year 76 -78 ? ) with a turbo 350 .Thank you 442KID (Darryl )
the plan for the turbo 350 will be after a rebuilt to back up my Buick 350 that will go into my Regal.

The Olds 350 ....well it's a future project for the 85 442. It's not like their around every corner now a days.Get them when you can.

And a used engine stand from Kijiji , which appears far better than any new ones from the Princess Auto ( like HF but Canadian ) or Canadian Tire has to offer.
Sadly anything that you would trust to mount an engine on , starts at a $ 1,000 Canadian dollars

Just what I needed 2 more projects , well it keeps me out of the t*tty Bars.

Took advantage of 40% off at the local lkq junkyard yesterday, and scored another wc T5 and f-body pedal assembly. With core charges, I paid $132 for both.

That WC has been opened so maybe it's already been rebuilt. What year is it?....if the sticker is gone and it's not on the tag it's marked on the housing just in front of the fill plug
That WC

it still has the tag on the left side. it looks like a ford pattern t5, but has the 26 spline input shaft. probably from a mid 90's camaro with a v6. take the number from the tag and check it at this site to see gearing. http://www.britishv8.org/articles/borg-warner-t5-id-tags.htm

oh, and nice find.
