Installed a Borgeson 800130 steering box. It works great!
Also installed a new vacuum modulator. The transmission was shifting too quickly. Shifting is now very close to where I want it.
The adjusting screw was all the way clockwise. I backed it off 4 turns. I’ll probably do a little more adjustment.

Popped up on Facebook. Couldn't resist the urge so I sent the man some money. Hope to have it here soon.

Well, time to revisit the delay wiper setup since the rainy season is now here.

Bought a spare ITM shifter just to have a spare. Now all I need is the reverse arm & lever & I'll have a compete spare shifter set.

Antenna nut, bezel, and hinge pin kit from GBP, overflow and washer jugs from Mike's Montes, PS o ring kit from O'Reilly's. That pump has been through hell and back and still works and afaik is the 37 year old original pump. It was on the car when I got it 42,000 miles ago. It's worth regasketing to try to stop the fluid flinging.

Well it wasn't today but over the past two weeks I bought some C3 power mirrors for the conversion. Got almost all the parts needed except for the drivers side plastic mirror frame (backing, glass housing?). Should be getting the '81 Vette CSM to test the motors in a day or two.

Okay, I will play along.

I got a pair of Flowmaster 2.5" Delta Super 44s for my 78 Malibu to make it into a weekend driver. Also got some the dead soft aluminum header flange gaskets to try out. Now, to pick out a cam so the poor old motorhome 454 will sound like it belongs in a Malibu.
