I received the aforementioned short poly trans mount today, and got a comparison. In the first pic the short is on the left which is PN#3.1158G and the standard on the right PN#3.1108G. The short mount measures in at 1-5/8" overall height.
2nd pic is the short mount next to the stock 80E mount....height is identical.

Bought a new single DIN SONY head unit with AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth/AUX/USB and a host of other stuff I didn't need.

The wagon won't know how to react to all this technology at once.

Might get it installed over the weekend while we're snowed in.

I'd just chuck the plate; it's interlocked- should be fine.

Picked up a billet forward drum/input shaft from CKperformance for the th400, direct drum spiral lock for the spag assy. and one for the intermediate clutch. Also low drag rear servo shim

Picked up a box of Cutlass and Hurst olds parts after work yesterday off CL. Guy also had a header emblem and dash plaque for an '84 Hurst but were pretty pricey. Storm hitting Saturday,think I will stay in and go through parts box.
