Man ole man, that bumper repair epoxy stinks something awful!!!! Here is rounds 2 and 3. Gonna let it cure overnight, then block it down tomorrow maybe and see where I stand.

I can’t wait to see how it turns out. My dash is cracked to heck.

is there a thread here that has interior fabric and paint colors and suppliers? Especially a match for 1984 Hurst Olds interior color. I was looking at SEM Napa Red.

I don't think there is a direct thread, but call SEM. they can match any color. In regards to the dash repair, a few guys have used the 3M stuff with success, figured for $15 it's worth a shot.

I've heard good things about that stuff, but it's above my pay grade lol. Not really, but the bumper repair is for exterior use, and I followed the prep procedure which you know is the most important thing to do.

Thanks, I’m going to hit them up and see what they say. At this point anything would make that dash look better lol.

Welp, I'm impatient so I gave the repair a quick rip with 80 grit and it looked pretty slick, but needed another thin coat. Just finished and might sand again in 45 mins or so if I feel like staying up.

Just finished another round of sanding with 80 and 180 after a thin layer was added last night. I'm feeling more confident about the repair turning out acceptable now. Gotta get the grain look back though....I have an idea on that.
