There’s space for a cooler there if I had one about 2 inches smaller in height and 3 inches narrower, this one hits the fans no matter how I mount it.

If I never bought this dual pass radiator that wouldn’t be an issue. Guess I’m shopping for a couple extra fans over the weekend.
Can you post a pic? I can’t picture what issue you’re having.

Anyone that’s unsure of my societal status - that sentence should straighten you out ;)

Rktpwrd I want to put something on these to keep them from soaking up oil/coolant/filth - will a clear coat work?

And no, I’m not getting them powder coated.

Aluminum or steel? My go-to is always epoxy primer followed wet-on-wet with whatever topcoat you want, but if I know you, you’re a little more “budget oriented”.
Lol
If that’s the case and you just want to spray bomb them, you really can’t go wrong with a decent etch primer followed up by any VHT product. Their Chassis and Roll bar paint, and their Caliper paint are both very robust. I wouldn’t clearcoat them as is, there probably isn’t enough tooth for it to stick without an etch primer, plus it’ll turn yellow with the heat over time.

Thanks.

I’m most concerned that they’ll absorb everything that touches them.

Budget friendly is always ideal. And for this car it’s the 1st priority lol. Someday I’ll post about something that the budget isn’t the 1st priority haha.

Yeah, I've been gone a while. lol Now I'm newly retired and have time to kill. Anyway, my HEI bit the dust and after getting pissed at it I bought a Progression Ignition distributor. So far, I'm loving it.

10# of sh*t in a 5# bag. I was worried with it being backwards it wouldn't balance well but it was a beautiful tow. Trailer was a bit overweight for this, but the dually didn't care.
