Why Sawzall instead of a hole saw?
If I had a pipe bender, then I could’ve done that. It was an S&W Race Car kit - same one that is in my car. But getting a pipe to fit through a hole and cut correctly would be work beyond a little. Perhaps a fab shop that does this for a living could do it, but not this novice.

I’m sure it will get a dash cover when it’s done and no one will be the Wiser (except the owner haha).

Also had to loose the lower dash mounts in the footwell. But they will be easily overcome and out of sight.
Maybe a wire or two to clean up as well eh?

You must be getting close to a drive?
Getting there. But because my cheap @ss used a transmission that no one else uses, they put the wrong slip yolk on it. Shouldn't be to hard of a fix. Just waiting for the call that it's done.

Forgot to mention - no sawzall. I used an exacto knife on the dash surface and a hacksaw blade to cut through the plastic in the dash.

Installed a new 6-3/4 balancer after 3 days of fighting it. Used my new puller on the old balancer, didn’t put a centering cap on the end, and the tip on the driver screw wasn’t ground on center, wiping out the first thread in the snout.

Pulled the wheel again last night to see what I can do with it today to persuade it some more. Was hoping to find some cheap replacement wheels to get me by for the time being but no luck

I really have to give a huge thanks to the guys who have been helping me lately...all for free. Guy painted my bumper fillers for free (I paid for the paint that was color matched by a local paint supplier), guys at work put the chrome door molding on the door with my company's new 2 part adhesive and clamped it for 4 hours, found spray paint for my monte carlo for $15 a can, etc.... new headliner, stripe kit, carpet, etc... for the monte if I ever get it back lol
