Spent $260 on custom 11/32" pushrods for the wagon's LS1. Started daydreaming about the snow melting.

Realized that every time my car(is) is broken it's either oddly nice outside for the time of year (70ish) or gas is under 2 bucks a gallon. :/

Bolted in my rebuilt Steering Box from PCS Motorsports. It is a work of art. I can't believe it is the same box I sent them last week. Everything in the steering will need to be re-aligned because the pre-build box had everything so jacked up. hopefully it will back on the road by the weekend.

I scored a set of -781 heads with new 2.19/1.88 valves set up for .580+ lift cam... perfect for the 468 I snagged the other day. Probably work out real nice...9.1 compression and it is already sporting a Comp XE274 cam.

Very nice! I love how big blocks fill up engine bays! Here is a pic of the 468 in my brother n laws 68 camaro. He had to pull it and put a 400 in it for a bit and it just looked silly lol! Looks like this now though.

Guess I know who I am gonna hit up when I find an LS motor to swap into a G-body

It's a lot of work, but in the end you get to decide where the PCM mounts and how the wiring is routed. I looked at a couple of commercial harnesses and I can't figure out how they would even work in a G-body. The early PCMs are almost impossible to mount in the passenger compartment.

Ended up pushing the Monte into DD status today. Trans on wifeys Impala is acting up and I refuse to put any money into it so she took my van and I am driving the Monte until I find her a new car. So todays task ( in-between calls at work ) is to sort out the choke on the car. Now if I can only find that post by Bonnewagon ..........
