took the horn off my quadrajet, the car was running great but I could not get the fuel mixture right, it was close but it fluctuated. It turned out to be something I did when I removed the main rods last time,I bent one of the arms holding the main rods so one road was sitting higher in the jet. It's something I usually check but I forgot....thanks to Jack's suggestion of lipseal on the horn gasket is working great but the cherry fragrance is gone....:)

Finished my front inner fender beatification project. The tops are painted with Krylon Fusion satin black as mentioned before. The bottoms my brother sprayed with 3m undercoating. A lot of sand scratch on both. I went crazy with 400 on the second one but it's about the same as the first. That plastic just doesnt sand that great. They will look good on the car. I just need to put the magnifying glass away. Also cleaned up the little bracket that fastens the accumulator to the a/c case. I like how it looks natural. I think I will find some low gloss clear to spray it with.

I actually need another one I'm out of room.

Heard that!!!! I'm very limited on space at the house the wife and i are renting. I have 2 toolbags here, a decent channellock toolset in case that has been a life saver many times over, and a toolbag in my trunk for yard trips. Most of my better tools are at my brother n laws garage in a 6 or 7 drawer tool chest.

I sprayed my accumulator bracket with Rustoleum satin clear enamel for a 'natural' appearance and am well pleased with the results.
