th200c is a great transmission. It's a shame the racing crowd is just figuring this out after all this time
I wish I would have put the shift kit in mine when I had it out. Will yours downshift at speed now?

Is there any outlet for the stock V6 and transmission? Will be looking to sell after my LS swap. TIA

Added oil at 210,000 miles on the original 305, and still chugging along. Long live 3000 mile oil changes!!!

Engine overheated on the way to work, had to turn around dump it and grab my dads spare saturn. It got to 260 on the gauge. Thought I had a blown headgasket, check oil, normal color and level. A Nice caramel/syrup color. Quart low, just where I left it. (added quart, front seal leaks. damn rope seals). Checked radiator, nearly empty, but clean. Took a whole jug of 50/50. I guess my thermostat bolts were loose and allowed coolant to leak out, or something. There was also coolant on/around my overflow, and the cap itself leaks if you turn it upside down, so I'm going to replace that jug too. There are no internal or external leaks that I could find or feel with the engine running at operating temp. Since it was seeping passed the thermostat gasket, I will be replacing it. And the thermostat as well. Again, might as well. But since the current stat works, I'll keep it as a spare.

This issue is unrelated to my "car gets hot with ac lever on cold" thread.
