Although the fast idle still needs tuned better. Not a van of two pumps, *wrrwrrr* va-WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
I work again, this time nights so my only time do it it besides my day off are after work. It's about 1700rpm, a touch too high. Gotta see what the lowest it will go without stalling out. Somewhere between 1100 and 1500 I think will be the ticket.

you don't have to remove anything to get to the fast idle adjustment so get your phillips out and back off the adjustment screw to turn down the revs

I dont feel like messing with it before work. I just dont do anything car related before work. I'll do it after work in the parking lot, though. Its kind of a pita in my case, with my carb sitting so low and my air cleaner being so big. I can reach it, but it takes some effort. Its just that the car has to be cold, and it is only cold at the same times I have free to mess with it before/after work or on my day off.

Even chased down a few local cars that have been sitting in yards and driveways for years and asked the owners if they would sell the door panels out of them. No one willing to let them go. I keep coming up empty. Eventually there has to be a set somewhere.
