Nice truck though

Nice helper too :) Nothing better than the other half lending a helping hand. Looked like troubles turned into some fun. Way to go turboLQ4!!

So, a little more fiddling and tweaking and my desired AFR of 13.85 and my actual of 13.8 are about as close as I think they can be. VE, volumetric efficiency is a subject which I have encountered during the course of reading various articles but not really gotten into simply because your average car engine, is, at most, a large air pump that sucks and blows. The nature of the basic design almost guarantees that perfection will never be achieved therefore a perfect VE rating, that being 100% will almost never occur. All I am after here is a solution to my IAC issues and a nasty case of hard throttle. Think I have both more or less solved and now have to stop and allow the system to do some relearning to catch up with all the adjustments that have been made. My G-10 is not a pro street beast nor does it visit drag strips or go faster exhibitions. It was built to be a I-state cruiser that has had the misfortune to have had to deal with commuter traffic in recent years. Still planning on an electric in tank pump for it to replace that miserable booster pump and a 700R4 swap to get another gear for the highway.

I have the 1156 LEDs on my lawn tractor. What a difference. I can really see what I am doing in the fall when it gets dark/dusk early!!!
I don't think I've ever used the tractor headlights, but I ordered a 4pk of LED 1156s off Amazon this morning- 2 are going in the 442 reverse lights as well.

Other than work I've done nothing but wonder about test results it's like school finals and I don't know if I kept my passing D or I failed now there telling me Monday maybe the box said 2 business days and we took the test last Friday. I can't think straight enough to work on anything of my own.

With no welding supplies to work with on the Buick, I decided to clean up and tune up my Honda pusher. I don't use it much, just in places where the tractor won't fit, or if I'm looking for some exercise I'll mow the front lawn with it. I bought one of these little kits and changed the air filter, the spark plug and oil. Nothing looked too bad, but the blade is pretty chewed up, probably should just replace it.

Finished the Corvette up and fired (sparked?) it up.

Power cut off like Daddy's Monte:

The composite body makes for a nice power bulkhead.

20V 5.0Ah batteries in parallel to avoid nuking the motors... for now.

Stop and go pedals. Evidently it has regenerative braking.
