Put Pop's Cub Cadet wheels through the ringer: parts washer, wire cup on a drill, blast cabinet, more Brakleen, and some VHT epoxy on the beads for tire install tomorrow.

Muncie rebuild day- the guys at AutoGear said that the relationship between the syncro and cone on the gear is like rings on a cylinder bore. 4th looks glazed to me. I have to press the main shaft apart yet, but this moreorless confirms my suspicion of why it was acting up. Under full throttle, it was fine. It wouldn't come out of gear after a part throttle cruise. I think the syncros were sticking.

What are you gonna use on yours? I tried to make a sort of cross hatch pattern too. Not sure if that's right or wrong but we'll find out soon enough.
No idea- just wingin' it!! RoLoc on the gear and ScotchBrite on the brass?
