What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2020]

Installed a tonneau cover on the wife's new Frontier. The cover is pretty good for $140. Ran into 1 snag. The bolts to hold the clamps to the bedrail were too short. I just happened to have longer bolts that were 2 threads too long. Added 2 flat washers per clamp and all was good. Tonneau is centered and tight. Didn't have to adjust anything. Can't wait till it rains to see if it is watertight

And no I didn't take it apart someone else did so I had to figure it out

That's what it looked like when I figured out I had no clock spring so I moved on to a Hyundai, pulled it and cut it up

After work I took the crew cab to Jackson and picked up my trailer... I'm tired

What type of bit are you using to drill out the spot welds? I never have any luck with the mini-hole saw type cutters.

I built the exhaust for the van. All the way to the axle. Still need to get over and out the side but at least it's quiet. Bled the brakes and now it lot drives! Running off a gas can till I get a new fuel sender. I even put the old dog dishes back on it

When I'm cutting a panel for removal I use my belt sander when I need to drill out a spot-welded for a plug weld or rosette weld I use a. Spot weld bit that looks like a bullet bit or pilot point bit both of which are available at Lowe's or Depot but the ones I use are from an auto body supply they're shorter for getting in tighter spaces.
