New wheels mounted. Looks better than I thought they would. IMG_20200331_161645.jpg IMG_20200331_161636.jpg

I mounted the wheels in the rain. When I finished I sat at my work bench and hung my cap on a nail to let it dry. About 15 minutes later I noticed a splash of water and a small puddle on the surface of the bench. I was immediately upset that my roof had started leaking. Dad had a Ferd with a 300 6 cylinder. Extended cab, long bed, 4wd, 4 speed manual trans, 3/4 ton. He blew piston skirts off if it twice. Different cylinder each time and two years apart but in the same place in the hills both times. Truck loaded cab high with firewood, truck box trailer with 4 foot sides rounded full. Truck worked like a champ at low speeds but even unloaded it was weak.

The next truck he had was a 1985 W350 Dodge truck. Single rear wheel, 360 engine, 4 speed manual, 4wd. He snapped the crank at the second main bearing with a similar load..... maybe it's just him🤔

New coil, points, capacitor, and rotor for the International 184. Have been fighting starting issues on this thing since November, and haven't been able to reliably start it since January.

Finally got it starting and running well, and bladed some of the potholes out of the road.
