And it's recent so I don't feel like a retard for missing it. Your dad wrench with you?
No, I've surpassed his abilities. He won't even drive it anymore. Well, he will, but it takes a lot of coaching.

I get where the comment comes from, but this is truly a family affair. The daughter doesn't quite get it, but she's coming around. I like to think think she wouldn't sell it.

Are arranged marriages so out of style that you can't itroduce a series of pre-screened sons-in-law that can make sure of it?

Irony would be her choosing an LsX swap for it if/when she got her hands on it....

Yes
Shotgun test....

Step 1: he knocks on door
Step 2: you open door with shotgun pointed in his face

Fail: he pees his pants, runs, or, cowers and stammers

Pass: he starts asking questions about the gun

That about right?

We built a garden/potting bench for the stepfather today.

Hand cut all the wood, 4x4 post for legs and 2 top crossbeams. Used hurricane ties to keep legs from getting wobbly, then put 2x2s spaced an inch and a half apart for the slotting.

Unless someone intentionally tries to trash it I'd expect it to outlast either of us.

Of course I took an off center picture, because, it's me, but you get the idea. One way to stay busy for for the day and only spend $20.
