It's got a cop motor, a 440 inch plant, cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks, and it's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

My rainier is at 240k miles and has been slowly leaking some type of fluid for the last month. Laid under it and saw the trans cooler lines were seeping going into the radiator/cooler.
I bought my rainier deer damaged at 178k 5 years ago and put a hood, core support, grill and radiator in. I took the fittings off the old bent rad so these are the factory 240k mile ones. The newer GM rads have an o ring port going into the rad and a quick coupler somewhat like an air compressor hose with an O ring inside to seal the cooler line to the fitting.
Went to one of the GM dealers in town and wanted to get some replacement O rings. Asked for the line and they said they dont have the O rings. I KNEW they had O rings in but they said I couldnt but the o ring and had to get the whole line.
Took the fitting off and saw the O ring was in the fitting. 2 parts guys AND the service guy said it was on the line. Pffft.
Used my pick set and got the O rings off, bought one of those multi kits at the hardware store, changed o rings and put it back together, Hopefully it stops leaking.
And if you want to get the normal GM part, you need to buy the fitting NOT the line like the parts guy said.

today between calls I ( we ) messed around again with the onan 2800 gennie for the work truck. 95% of the time I don't need one but **** it was built in and handy when all your cordless sh*t dies !
It was pulled from the truck some weeks ago ( 3 bolts cross-threaded and torqued to spec BTW ) and found to be siezed. Quick jolt from the impact gun on the crank bolt convinced it otherwise. I bought a new \ rebuilt starter and with some encouragement it fired ( took three guys, one for fuel, one for battery, one to flip the switch and hold it down to the cart ) and once the smoke cleared ran pretty OK. Today it was put back in and won't fire again ROFL. I just closed the door and went home. Maybe Santa will fix it.

Finished my H/O model kit today. This one didn't take me too long. Decided to build it as a regular Cutlass with some H/O parts. The kit was missing a lot of parts, included the shocks, the things to attach the wheel, the tail lights, the wiper motor, the intake tube and the radiator hoses. But by the time I realized it I was already knee deep into building the model. Oh well. Anyways, I improvised and I think it came out ok. Lots of bare metal foil on this one.
That is a detailed car, even the underside and you did a great job putting it together. Does it have the 8.5 or 7.5 rear?

Thanks Steve, I just started messing around with these kits again. I'm still a little sloppier than I'd like to be (notice the glue smear on the windshield), but each one comes out better than the last. It appears to have a 7.5 since the diff cover is more oval than round.
