Very possible. Just to rule out a break needing to be set I saw my GP this afternoon. No clear breaks in anything, but, theyre going to have the radiologist review for cracks. As an initial matter, the bones are good, but, just todays evaluation said it was a minimum of a high grade 2 sprain, maybe a grade 3.

To begin: No walking. Crutches for bathroom visits. No driving, wear a device/brace, not just wrap, once the surface sensitivity can come down to where it is possible. Keep it elevated and unused.

Instructed to follow up for MRI to see ligament/tendon issues with specialist, or, wait and see for few days at my choice

Just need to find a sub-1000 mile that someone stashed away. Firebird were always nicer than the camaro when it came to the detail work - trim, gauge layout, appearance packages.... and this is coming from a guy who had a 78 z28.
That will be a hard find. Had a 75’ camaro was ok as a kid. Now, probably have to crawl out of it🤣. Always liked the looks of the 68-71 range. My first love will always be 68-69 Cutlass though.

Sounds like a long summer of not much fun😓. Hopefully you have help getting around. With luck it stays with the quickest way to heal.

Added some fluid to the clutch master and then was just going to see about topping off the transmission but decided to do a full flush hoping to fix the grinding. Pretty sure its the clutch going, so gonna start looking into them again. I'm sure I will probably go McLeod double but will see what has changed

Did you use the proper Synchromesh transmission oil? I stupidly used 90 weight in my Sunfire 5 speed not knowing that the Synchromesh was critical for spin-down time. I had lots of grinding and gnashing until I flushed it out and used the right stuff.

Do you have a remote bleeder? On my Z06 the only fix was the Tick master. Too little too late for 2nd gear, so it's coming apart here shortly.

I did buy synchromesh but when I went underneath it says to use Dex ATF on the side of the transmission

Exactly what my Dad said after buying his first new car. I always planned on buying a brand new Firebird and now that I can afford one they don't make them anymore. RATS!!!!

Maybe a newish Camaro with the Bird front end swap ? Heck even the v6 one scoots pretty darn good. Once I hit 50 I realized Im not getting younger or more spry to work on stuff like I used to. They were $7 - $8g for the unpainted kit last time the boys and I were bench racing for the 2010 and up body style.

Got the work truck back last night from my tech. Just enough movement in the Upper BJ that they would not pass it for its annual inspection. Figured they were Orig from '99 ( no grease nipples ) with 348 kms on the clock ( thats got to be 250 thousand miles ). So they swapped both. And the inner rear brake pad was worn indicating a seized caliper or slider ( so they swapped them both too ). Non functioning A\C was a broken wire they will fix for free..................

Either you have time or money. Never both. Right now I have neither :):banana:

Yeah, some do use that. A lot of Synchromesh guys get into trouble using the Dex because some website said it was "better".

Put two gallons in it to make it mobile. Basically been using it as a large gas can.
