What do you think of how I mounted my regulator?

I just threaded to return port directly on to the hard return line. Planning on adding a support to keep it from vibrating too much. Anyone else done this and if so did you have any problems?

Something doesn't look right about your fittings and hose? Looks like your hose is too small for the fittings.

I have made quite a few AN hoses and to me that braided line looks too small for the AN hose ends ( which appear to be some Ebay ones) and I personally would have made a bracket for the regulator and mounted it somewhere else to avoid using a 180 fitting and give it a cleaner look. IMO

I cut two slots in the ac bracket and used a couple of bolts to mount the regulator there

It appears to be thick enough to drill and tap to install it there.

thats a good idea, I never thought about drilling and tapping. I cut the slots so I could slide the bolt in without having to remove the compressor

Also it is a good Idea to do mock ups on your heater hose and AC hose assembly if you are using a factory style they can be bulky get it the way of routing other lines,
The factory replacement AC hose I bought wouldn't make the mandatory bend without kinking so I decided to make my own for my Regal.

The fittings and hose are all AN6 from an amazon retailer. Went with the cheaper stuff because I didn’t want to ruin expensive stuff if I screw up. Nothing is sealed yet, this is all mock up. I can try re-routing the hard lines so they com in at a more convenient location that makes more sense for my new application. Thanks for the input.
