I got all the screws out of my heater core, but something is still holding it in. It feels like something at the bottom of the core. Anyone done this before? It is an '87 Buick Regal 3.8L N/A w/air conditioning. Thanks-

There is just a small bracket at the bottom, a lot of times there is gunk that gets built up and holds it in place. After removing the clip at the top just firmly lift straight up it will come out.

That's the problem, I can't lift straight up. It's caught on something.

There is no screws on the bottom so its likely just some gunk holding it in. Unless a previous owners modified it.
