Ok the grill looks like some aftermarket one but what is behind this thing?
Fans? Some weird horn set up?
Other than big rims the car looks stock.

The ad said Toledo OH and apparently they still have some of those brick paved streets from the early 1900's

I guess I will have to agree with DROLDS84 because they certainly do appear to be JBL marine speakers.
So maybe he is using them to play race car engine sound effects since his stock NA 3.8 doesn't make much noise.
