I don't know how people can ride on the stock, soft @$$ front springs. Even my v6 car would bottom out the front with Eibach springs that were rated for a v8 (Monte SS or GN, forget which I ordered for - SAME PART NUMBER EITHER WAY). The Moog 5662 is rated at 648lb/in, I believe, and has a shorter installed height than the 5602 factory replacement 350lb/in. It made a huge difference in how the car handles, even without a rear bar.

So there are no 5602 Height Springs with 648lb./in?

Honestly, Ive never bottomed out, even with the stock 14's. Altho, I do have the Rally Pack (sway bars) and Ive only got 62k miles, the springs have still held the weight for 33 years, 6 Months, and 24 days (but whos counting) and I have contemplated replacing them, altho Ive not gone down that rabbit hole yet..

However, I was leaning more towards those load adjusting shocks with the Spring that helps support them instead, as I really didn't end up liking the monroes on a G-Body.. Enjoyed the hell out of Monroe's on a F-Body and an A-Body.... but not G-Body's... thought that might help keep the ride height and help with stiffening it up a bit? Was I wrong in that assumption?

If I'm not mistaken, the Moog #5662 were listed for certain F-body cars like an IROC Camaro, Pontiac Firebird GTA, etc,
They will be stiffer than a 5660.

I thought 4x4 S-10; there's a chart around here somewhere......
I don't know about a 4x4 S-10, but the standard springs for an S-10 were the 5660 and 5658 depending on which engine was in it. 4-cyl or V-6.

4x4 s10s would have torsion bars no? lol

And you cannot raise the rate of a spring without changing free height (cutting)

You could put a spring rubber in it but by the time you get two (Mr Gasket sells cheapies) youre gonna be halfway to the cost of some new springs
