Changing out my gauges and came up with an extra plug that I cannot figure out what it is for. I am going to try to attach a photo and maybe someone can tell me what it is for. I do not remember unplugging

Looks like the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) connection. Fastens to the back of the speedo with a small screw.

Guess I didn't recognize it as it has a speedometer cable. I guess it is just an extra?

It's for the computer to pick up on the speed of the car. There is a reflector on the speedo, that plug flashes & pics up the reflected flash off it.
