I thought I replied to your post yesterday but don't see it today, so let's try again. To clarify you have 17x7 all the way around with that tire size combo ?

The guy at the custom rim shop gave me the tire sizes based off the rims and tires I currently had on my malibu which was 15x7s 215/65R15 (are 8.5" wide and 26.3" tall) and 255/60R15 (are 10" wide and 27" tall) he said to achieve the same width and height I would need
Tires: 255/50-17 & Tires: 215/55-17. He said my back spacing range has to be from 3.74" to 4". 1/4 inch could mean a world of difference when it comes to rubbing though, so if I need to go with the 225 i'm okay with that. Do you know your back spacing ? Have any photos ?

Thanks,
Joe

How much have you lowered the front and back?

I am not positive on the amount the car dropped. I used coil-overs on the front and rear and sat the car just above the tire. I'd say it's dropped 2" at minimum.

Thanks, I had the car for 10 years before I finally found a set of wheels I liked enough to buy. This all came after center line closed their doors with my wheels on back order.

Share a couple of the old 20's while I'm still waiting to get the new guys on

Apparently I will post the new wheels once they are on since it won't let me upload the pics I have of it at the moment

I have 255 35 20s on my monte and i am looking at a good deal on some 225 35 20 tires. Rims are some china spokes, 20x8 and my question is, will the 225 stretch too much over the rim, n will it affect the ride?
