1978 Malibu. I pulled it from a junkyard. Was rough, but my only car and I drove it everyday. Would like to have it back. It being rough I didnt care what I did to it, where as my car now I dont want to cut up.

My first G body actually was a A body in 78 :wink:
1978 El Camino SS I have owned this car for 30 years now.
My fisrt G-Body was an 85 Grand National. My Uncle, who was a CPD Lieutenant, found out that one was on a police auction block. He fronted me a loan, and made the arrangements. Got it for $3,200 back in 90, with no backseat and a stripped column. I came out of a 7-11 and it was gone. I had it 9 days, and was waiting for my paycheck to insure it.
my first g body. my father had a 79 cutlass with a corvette 350 with cutlass rallys of which i have only seen pictures of. it was a light blue color i cant remeber well then he had a 84 cutlass hardtop all white exterior blue interior as his story goes the odometer rolled over six times alot of highway driving many replacement engines then in 92 i was but a little booger handing my dad tools as he worked on his 86 monte carlo ss with a 350 200r4 dual exhaust this one was promised to be mine but alas he traded my uncle in dire need of a fast car for an f*(^%&G toyota wagon my dream was crushed a tear was shed as i saw her sexyness drive away then in 05 i recieved myfirst gbody and 84 cutlass special edition only 80,*** on the odometer a family friend had it in his driveway for 16 years he got it running and blew the motor and decided to give it to me as a project so i rebuilt the engine drove it for awhile the till it came time for the california smog as it wouldnt pass (the cat was removed) and then it was towed away for expired reg i couldnt afford to take it out so i had to say good bye then in 2010 i bought a 81 buick regal with 90,000 for $800 she was a mix match of parts with blue fenders black grand natonal hood 86 regal front and rear tailights now she sits in white primer(will have pics soon) she currenty has a 79 camaro 305 block with matching heads intake carb and pulley setup from a 84 HO camaro and a t350 all will soon be replaced

i sawone at a carshow my dad brought me to as a kid.i saw a 67/70/78 and 87 model elcos there and fell in love.i originally wanted an 80s model.when i turned 16 i hunted for one.well i found one had a meeting to get it and the nexy day katrina hit.so we evacuated and then moved shortly after.well i got another job saved up and 3 years later i found nice 79 for sale guy worked with my dad.the trucks body was solid and motor was fairly good and for 1200 i bought it.after seeing it once it was sold.
...look at my sig for the after pic.the old owner and some of his family members ask if they can buy it back i feel bad but ha this one is mine took too long to get it
My first one was a '79 2 door Malibu w/ a 267 and that light yellowish/beige paint I've grown to hate. Sorry, no pic. Didn't have digital cameras back in '91.
my first G body is the one i bought on 11/4/12 i was looking on craigslist for a while for another car and came across a 1984 Grand Prix. emailed the guy and the next day i went an looked at. I looked over it really well with my grandfather and brought it home the next day.
