What year is this hood?

Found this hood in a barn & was told it came off a Cutlass but I'm not sure what year. Can anyone tell what years this fits or if it's even off a Cutlass by looking at the pics?

Okay that's what I thought also. Its not a steel hood it's made out of aluminum was that an option on these cars? Is it rare?

Nope. It's a '76-'77 Cutlass Supreme hood.

Gozer beat me to it dang lol!!!! My 87 hood is mainly straight across the front edge as is the same for 78 and up.

Ok, I was kind of wondering about that. I was told that it was a 81-88 hood when I got it but after looking at some pictures the 81-88 hoods looked straighter across the front which made me question it.

Sorry, I tree'd everyone, but, was going off of the hood trim and body lines.

Also heavily influenced by it being aluminum...

Yes, the hood is definitely aluminum. I've been looking online all day & haven't found found any info about it, besides the fact that it is a 76-77 & not a 81-88 like I had originally thought.
Does anyone know anything about this aluminum hood? Was it a option you could order or was it standard on a certain model of the 76 or 77 Cutlass?
