What's The Difference Between BOP and Chevy TH350 ?

I think I have either a BOP TH350 or BOP TH350C behind my 305 SBC in my '84 Monte Carlo, and not the Chevy TH350...fluid pan is that of a TH350, but the top of the bell housing looks different...

It isn't pointed at the top like most TH350 I've seen, removed, bought, and installed before...looks to have bunny ears...

That is a universal TH 350 case. As far as I know all TH350c variants came with the universal bellhousing.

Nope. My 81 wagon's original was a chevy-pattern 350C. Maybe they moved to universal cases only sometime after that, though

us builders called them a multi case, it will bolt up to all GM engines. and no the C / lock up unit came in all bolt patterns. the non L/U came in all configurations also,,,,,,,,,,,,,
