wheel tire fitment ?

I have a 84 cutlass lowered 1 inch and I am looking to run 17" torque thrust wheels. I would like to run a 17x7 with 4.25 back spacing with a 225/45 17 in the front and a 17x8 with 4.5 back spacing with a 255/40 17 in the rear. Would this set up work with out rubbing.

should work out just fine for you. Im running 17x8 coy's c5s all the way around with 4.5" backspacing all the way around. Im running 245/45 on the front and 255/45 on the rear. Only rubs on hard cornering due to worn front suspension.
