Will a truck intake fit under stock hood ?

Got a 08 LS2 block and was wondering if the truck intake will fit under the hood of my 79 regal ? I have read up on this and seen guys with truck motors and intakes under g body hoods but was not sure if car years, or motor/ intake size plays a role. For instance my intake and throttle body are 90mm where as a 5.3 is 78mm I believe

Hmm it should. I know the gen 3 truck intakes do but not sure about the gen 4 trucks and tbss manifold. It's probably best to check yourself
