so i came up with a odd idea customizing the body on my car taking out the quarter glass let me know what you think of the progress so far before

agreed, i think its a lot of work for nothing and would look quite weird on the inside too

its going to be a drag car so the blind spot isnt a issue going to have the olds emblem air brushed in that area

I noticed the insert was recessed into the window opening....what did you use to flush it?

On the drag cars do you guys not use lexan windows to get rid of some weight?

i had welded another peice of sheet metal in after the one pictured then used filler to make flush its not yet finished yet still needs more sanding and a final filler coat and more sanding.....you could use lexan to lose some weight i dont care for it. it scratches to easy for me my car has all original glass in it windsheild,rear, and door glass
