Would you pay $1000 to test drive this car?

Plus the Dodge 'esque' stripes on the fender have no place on a GN
The first place I know they've been is the '96 Corvette Grand Sport. And that might be because of the original C2 Grand Sport having them at some point but I've only been able to find one picture to support that. In recent years, the Grand Sport package came back and those stripes have been on 'Vettes, Mustangs, Challengers, and at least one of almost any "sporty" car you can think of has had them put on by their owner. Now my question is, does anyone even know what those stripes mean anymore?

Well as for the supposed meaning of the stripes I looked it up. They are a racing designations depending on class. They are either to designate team , driver, or rookie status.

In my area the only thing I see them on is Dodge's which is why I considered them a Dodge thing .

these are the only rookie stripes I know of.....

the fender stripes were started by a cobra team so they could pick out their car.....

Well I learned something today.
Getting back on topic (sorta) and speaking of Shelby, here's a car I might actually pay to test drive:
Shelby Daytona
