I found 3 feet of space in a bay. The Hooker box housing my failed first attempt at 180 degree headers on the 67 gave up the ghost, so I built a crate for tube scraps.

Ehh my garage is mess right now too. I was just thinking today I should go over to harbor freight and buy some wrench organizers and some socket rails and clean up the mess on my work bench. I got about 15 other projects going right now though, none car related, and I just started a new job so I'll probably get to cleaning the garage around June.

Back in the late 1990s through 2001 or so I ran (and closed) some KB Toys stores back when they went private through bain capital. One of (many) bonuses was I was free to cannibalize the pegboard off the walls for free, as much as I wanted to strip and take, I could, for free.

Couple that with some boxes of pegs and I love throwing that up on workshop walls. It holds a decent weight if you secure it properly (firring strips and hex heads every 2 sq ft)

I think most of us struggle to find the time for a hobby thus leaving little time for the cleanup.

I read something years ago that said "a dirty shop is a busy shop because there's no time to clean it ". That's my story and i'm sticking with it!
