I know its rare, but I still don't think it warrants a 30g+ price tag.

If it's not worth the 30k, it won't sell, simple as that. Nothing wrong in what the seller's asking, it's his to ask. What I have never been able to understand is the logic behind buying a car and then storing it, unused. I get that there's money to be made with desirable models, but it still seems like such a shame to not enjoy the car. Most of these low mile "collector" cars just get passed on from one owner to the next without hardly accumulating any miles. Cars were made to be driven, period.
Now on another note, what about the d-bag that posted on the e-bay ad? It's one thing to discuss on a car forum, but why did that person feel the need to screw with the seller's listing?
Kwik_Cutty88 said:That is also true, I guess it is just a matter of opinion. Some may think it is worth the price, some may not. I just posted it here because I got a kick out of it, I thought others may also. As far as the guy posting on the ad, yeah...that messed up. It's basically a slap in the face to the seller, and may convince potential buyers that the seller is trying to be a scam artist. All in all, if it sells, good for the seller, not my ride to worry about.

yep, guess we'll see. I'd be interested to see what it ends up going for. For the record, I don't think I would ever buy something like that even if I had the cash. I love my old cars, but I also like performance. In most cases, older cars in stock form just don't do it for me. I want power, handling, and braking - that all adds up to modification and "destroying" the survivor car. I'll leave the stock, low mileage purchases to those with deep pockets that seem to be content with staring at their acquisitions rather than driving them![]()
