anyone know where i can buy them at a good price? i want black ones with a chrome lip, but if i could find plain silver ones i would paint them to match the car. i was thinking of getting 17x9.5s for the front and 17x 11 for the rear, but would that rear tire cost an arm and leg to buy? Will an 11 inch wide tire fit without modifications?

an 11" wide tire in the rear would be fine. 11" in the front might be a little wide. They will prolly crown a lil

is this another one of your sick so I'm bored questions?..lol

if you run a 9.5 rim up front won't your tire width be up at least 265?....I have 245-50-16 up front and there's not much room to spare....

no this one is not hypothetical, i really want to get these, (assuming I can afford the wheels and tires), i would go 8's and 10's but all the manufactures ive found only make 9.5's and 11's

yeah, those, the old style zr-1 wheels, the new ones are 20X12 all around so i dont think those would work. (they actually have a few sets for sale online believe it or not at a decent price)

I'm guessing you're talking about the Corvette C4 ZR1 rims. I had 17x11's with 315 wide tires on the back of my el camino and it took a lot of work to get them to fit but it looked badass. If you're interested how I did it you can look here for that info http://gbodyforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=6139&highlight=
I ended up taking those 17x11's and traded them for 17x9.5. The 9.5's with 275 wide tires didn't rub around corners AFTER I put polyurithane body bushings on. For the front I used 16x8's with 245's and with my 3inch lowered stance they rub in the front, back and top. I think I have 2inch spacers in the front and 2.5 in the back.

Sorry forgot to say that I put the 9.5's on my malibu and that's why I downsized
