You need to make a reason to stop in at Tri Star next time thru Blairsville. Mostly Mopars at that location but over at the old Watson Chevy building they had Novas in the show room.
I keep mine around the original lenth. As I relocate the links from the starter to junction block that'll be on the inner fender I'll have them about the OE lenth.
My Holley 4175 is 650 carb, a new one does cost more (was about $200 back in '99) but I'd rather have it to be honest. Be cheaper to rebuild a good core & have it tuned to what you need. Hell, I got 3 good cores (one might be an older rebuild that is ready to go) that cost me less than $25 for...
Had Jr. perform his 1st factory "improvement" tonight, installed the rad support brace bars. I had them out & kinda in the way so I decided to have him get something done with them. Showed him how they are on mine then walked hin thru it. Took longer explaining the how to than to install. Then...
I was thinking along that line & was wishing those lower inner patch panels were still out there. As that being a local car I think they coud have the same issue. But there's another parts car for other stuff.
Well found out another headache tonight, really going to have to find better doors. The very poor & neglected out door storage of the extra doors were not good for them. Bottoms are about the same as the originals but with out the sideswipe damage. If those inner lower patches were still...
(Late reply, didn't post when I wrote this)
I hope since it already has the antique title getting the registration goes smooth with out an issue. As I'm going to pay extra just to "personalize" it to use the purple plate I don't want any hicups that most likely will happen in Harrisburg. With...
I got all Hella for both Montes. The only bad I see with the lights for my '81 is there are no nipples for the aimers but the set for Jr.'s '79 has them. Part of the reason was ease of getting replacement bulbs as not everyone carries sealed beam bulbs & H4's are everywhere. Even the H1 high...
I've seen Grand Prix's over the years that had metal trim ment for our gas pedals. Not sure how hard it'll be to find one. If you would swap in the matching gas pedal you could get a repop trim kit.
I would think these cars are more the "look at all they money I can spend" crowd. Some are cool what if cars but at the end of the day it'll still be a Camaro.
I've had that idea for my car years back in the '90's when I saw a 5 speed converted MCSS that had that style pedal covers. The owner welded on a set of donor metal pads correct for the pads. Wish the brake & clutch pads were that size to swap out for an option.
