I'm considering installing one in my basement to supplement my electric furnace. To any of you guys who have or have had one, what's your opinion or suggestions.
I used to borrow my brother's Dewalt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004W1WGIC/?tag=gbody-20 and liked it okay. A little heavy if I had any complaints. That model has been around for years and years. What are you guys using and what do you think of them?
Anyone ever tried any of those battery additives that are supposed to "revive" and desulfate lead acid batteries? How about Epsom salt?
I've got 3 motorcycles and an ATV with marginal batteries. Was thinking about rolling the dice to see if I can squeak 1 more season out of them.
I'm in the planning stations of a shop build. Looking for ideas, tips and suggestions. If you have a shop maybe post up dimensions with a photo or two. I'd love to hear what you'd change if you were doing it again.
My current plan is a 36 x 48 x 12 insulated pole barn with a single roll up...
I've got a line on a couple 425s right now. One is a Toro that's sat for a while and I'm expecting to need a full rebuild. The other is listed as 310hp (orig 2bbl) runner currently breathing through a Carter AFB. Both are listed as '67s so they should be 39* blocks. Lifter diameter is up for...
Took a little drive around my hood this morning and snapped some pics of all the stuff rotting away in fields and driveways. All within 5 miles of my house. With very few exceptions, none have moved in the last 5 years. Sorry in advance for photo quality. All were taken from the comfort of my...
Are there any projects/tasks/duties that you guys do annually? Or maybe something you did just because it's a new year?
-I always purge useless photos from my phone then back them up to my laptop around the first of every year. Also back laptop photos to a hard drive that lives in my safe.
-We...

So, I've posted in other threads that my job has had me working with Honda on the Takata airbag recall. I was working in Antigua last week and since the project had recently reached a major milestone, Honda invited our team to come through California on out way home.
Honda maintains a small...
My YouTube search history is pretty boring and predictable. Therefore, my YouTube feed is mostly predictable being mostly Indian motorcycles, some random car stuff, and firearms related with some of the expected clickbait and buzzfeed junk thrown in.
Yesterday my feed looked a little different...
Posting this here since we don't really have an off-topic section and we all have non-G cars in our families. Mods are free to move it if they feel there's a better place for it.
I've been working with Honda recently as part of their recall effort. They really, really want to get the Takata...
Self driving cars have been a reality for years. Most kids have little to no interest in cars. Emissions, economy, and safety standards are constantly being increased. Urban areas are being designed to exclude automobile access while remaining infrastructure falls into disrepair. Guns and soda...
Just got back from the little tire shop in town...again.
A few weeks ago I was replacing a defective rear strut on my daughter's Neon. Decided I'd get the tires balanced since I had them off the car anyway. Threw them in the back of the 510 and hauled them down to the tire shop. The guy was...
