Yes the chevy cap will work. olds dist turn the opposite direction than a chevy but the caps are the same. as to the starter it sounds like you have a dead spot in it. the best way to check it is have someone help you by holding the key in the start position when it just clicks, give the starter...

I think what you are seeing is a anti drain back valve. It keeps oil from draining back into the pan while your engine is not running.

Re: Replaced plugs and wires now running rough and hesitates make sure that a plug didn't get cracked when you installed them. Also try pulling 1 wire at a time with the engine running to see if you can detect witch cylinder it is

Fill a spray bottle with dish soap and water, you only need a little soap. Fill the shocks up to the max PSI, then spray all the fittings and the fill valve. Any leak will cause the soap to bubble up.

The thing to remember is that you want to keep the A arms in the same position. If the springs are to soft and it squats the car all of your steering geometry will be off. I have a Cutlass with a V8 and V8 springs that I just put 2" drop spindles on< I really like the look.

I seen a video on that, that is cool as hell. I wonder if they could do all my dash trim, I hate the wood look.

Re: Is there a issue with S10 spindles vs. ones made for a G I worked for GM, and if they can reuse something off the shelf they will. I would not be surprised if the whole front end on a S10 is from the G body platform. I got a set of S10 2" drop spindles off Ebay shipped to the door for $120...

If you have a tire that needs 7-8 ounces you got a problem. try turning the tire on the rim and rebalance

you could take the drums to a tire shop to ck the balance, at least you would know. did you try running it on stands with the tires off?
