I dont know if it revved up or not and i havent been able to make it not work again. When i took the vacuum line off the booster the pedal felt the same as when it didnt work. My buddy and I put on a new boster and mastercylinder last night and that seems to be working.

There is a small cannister in the vacuum line between the booster and the intake. Looks like maybe a filter. Does anyone know what that is?

On my cutlass that choke light also doubles as a low oil pressure warning light. If thats what turned your light on there is probably serious engine damage.

Do those brake boosters have some kind of on off switch to control the vacuum to them that could be going bad? I took the vacuum line off the booster and it acted just like earlier today. Im almost certain its a 350. Square pan minus one corner. Ill count the bolts if it ever quits raining.

86 cutlass supreme 4dr 231v6 th350 and 2.73? gears. 1st to 2nd is slow and hard and 2nd to 3rd is slow. It will shift very smooth if I baby it. Any ideas?
