Re: Budget Cutlass Build-Bad, Bad Day.
fix it, all I see on my work computer for pics is red "x"s but sounds like minor damage. I rear ended a lady once and eventhough we were only going about 10-15mph I had to replace both fenders and complete euro header but my Glasstek hood popped back intpo...
I know they make 64-72 A-body adaptor arms. Your Impala reaend will either need new upper and lowers welded on or adaptor arms made. But I think it still won't fit because of the width. I'm not sure of the exact width but 74 Impala are land yachts and I also think they have the 5x5 wheel bolt...
Turbo is the most efficient because it doesn't require power to make power. It's exhaust drive so there is no parasitic draw like a crank driven super charger. Depending on how much stuff you have but even a budget DIY kit can run 2-3K dollars. I am gathering parts to turbo a 350 SBC in my 79...

If a your looking for a cleaned up engine bay and a semblance of fuel economy, I'd get a spread bore dual plane intake and a non-computer q-jet, a pair of shorty headers, a vacuum advanced distributor and dump the AIR. 1/4" NTP pipe plugs work great to replace the tubes coming outta the exhaust...
I just threw my gauge panel together and gonna put in my dash and wire up the gauges even though I haven't finished the rust repairs or painted the dash tan. Next month I have to take the wagon it for our annual safety inspection and has to have a operational gauge cluster to pass the...
