Benefits to boxing rear control arms

It is no vibration at all , it feels like in a small ship in heavy waves on the sea ! (sometimes difficult to find the right english words..). It swings somehow from left to right , so much , that i have to lift the throttle. It makes it that way only under heavy acceleration , when i rev second...

Benefits to boxing rear control arms

Could the original control arms be a reason for the car beginning to "shake up" on speeds over 100 miles per hour on full throttle ? It behaves like if air pressure is much to low on all 4 tires !? Car has nearly 300 hp at the wheels , 350 engine and th350.. Greets , Carsten

    Stall speed for converter question

Maybe the best will be to open the rear and count teeth (hope i spelled it right) . Of what i read here before , i think its ratio is not as low as 2.29....!? It is no problem to reach about 100mph in 2nd gear. Crusing is not an important point , on highway i drive not faster than 60 to 70 mph...

    Stall speed for converter question

OK... It is the way that the engine does not go over 4600..4700...4800 in 3rd gear :-( I do not know how fast because of the tach ends at 85mph... I think i will open the rear / diff to have a look if it is that "long" and count ,because as i tested the car the last days , it made about 60 mph...

    Stall speed for converter question

Tire size is 275-60-15 Tach ends at 85.... :D :D :D I understand you , because my other car is a bug which has a close ratio 4 speed gear box and had over 200hp and i could start with the car with 4000 or 5000rpm from the line... It is on youtube , too under my name there The79OldsCutlass.

    Stall speed for converter question

Problem is that the car goes from standing at lights from 2000 to 3000 like a 50 hp Honda and then beginns...

    Stall speed for converter question

Car is a 1979 Oldsmobile with a 350 chevy out of a corvette with a weiand open plenum intake and Holley 750cfm (3310) vakuum secondaries , camel hump...
